I was completely immersed in Andrew Hutchinson’s book, ‘Puff Adders in the Panicum’ written from an auctioneer’s perspective, devouring it over a weekend. The rich and broad use of vocabulary from this talented wordsmith will leave you searching for more from this author.
The descriptive imagery surrounding Andrews’s adventures in the beautiful Eastern Cape of South Africa was hilarious and intense at times. I pondered over his enthralling escapades well into the night and thought the clever use of ‘appropriate’ names for his characters was brilliant.
This book is a must-read for those who simply love to read.
