Meet Lorna Philip Enslin
Born in Scotland, close to the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, Lorna was fortunate to have been educated within the excellent Scottish School system of the day. She was fascinated by books from a very young age and would often write her own short stories, always excelling at creative writing in her school life. Her love of writing has been a lifelong passion and to this day, she’s happiest when immersed in a writing project or teaching English to her online students from around the world.
Arriving in Sunny South Africa with her parents in the late 60s, Lorna was determined to travel the world, with her first port of call being Rio de Janeiro. Thereafter followed trips to New York, the UK, Greece and Cyprus. With the travel bug still biting hard, she left South Africa to return to the UK, but finding the weather a tad on the cool side, left to seek sunnier climes in Limassol, Cyprus! Since then, Lorna has travelled to the four corners of the earth but would still love to explore the Scandinavian countries. Her heart is in Scotland and Cape Town and she desires to retire to Cape Town one fine day. Being a fitness fanatic, she’s happiest when jogging on the Sea Point promenade on the Atlantic Seaboard.
Lorna is married to Peter and has adult children, grandchildren, stepchildren and step-grandchildren. She obtained the advanced Cambridge TEFL/TESOL accreditation and teaches English to non-native speakers from around the world. She writes reviews and edits books for international and local authors, Amazon and OnlineBookClub.org.
