Meet Lorna Philip Enslin

Born in Scotland near the shores of Loch Lomond, Lorna was educated in the Scottish school system, where an early fascination with literature and storytelling sparked a lifelong passion for the written word. Today, she channels that passion into reviewing and editing books for local and international authors—including work for Amazon and OnlineBookClub.org—and teaching English to students around the globe as a Cambridge TEFL/TESOL-accredited instructor.

Her literary work is backed by more than 40 years of high-level experience in the corporate world across a wide range of business sectors. A seasoned professional, Lorna successfully established and ran her own executive search consultancy, building a strong reputation for talent acquisition, leadership, and business strategy.

Lorna’s adventurous spirit took root in the late 1960s when she moved to South Africa with her parents, kicking off decades of global travel that included living in Limassol, Cyprus, and exploring destinations from Rio de Janeiro and New York to Greece. While Scandinavia remains on her future travel itinerary, her heart is split between her Scottish roots and Cape Town, where she plans to retire. A true fitness fanatic, she is happiest jogging along the Sea Point promenade on the Atlantic Seaboard.

Lorna is married to Peter and loves spending quality time with her adult children and grandchildren.
