Sex Scandals, Deals and Hidden Agendas of Nine Political Wives.

Veteran political journalist, Anne Michaud, captivates her readers in this well-researched piece of nonfiction. This enthralling and informative read delves into the lives of powerful couples on the political stage and why the wives stay even after their husbands stray.

I have often wondered why intelligent, educated women such as Hilary Clinton and Elanor Roosevelt would tolerate such betrayal but glamour and prestige as well as the desire to protect family are powerful draw cards ensuring continued loyalty to the erring spouse.

I found the White Queen analogy of point scoring for various factors very interesting. The glimpses into the private lives of individuals I had only ever read about were fascinating and I applaud the author for the detail she provides.

This intriguing book ensured my interest to the very end and I look forward to reading more from this author. Highly recommended
